How this site handles your information

ONmetrics publishes Toronto, Ontario Insurance Agency Guide, an independent directory of insurance agency businesses in Toronto, Ontario. Most visits leave nothing personal with us at all. This page covers the cases that do: enquiry forms, attribution data, and the third-party services the site loads.

When you send an enquiry or quote request through a form on this site, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, your message, and any answers you give about the service you need or your timing. Alongside that, the form records the page you submitted from and basic traffic-source attribution, meaning the referring site and any UTM tags on the link that brought you here.

Where your enquiry goes

When you submit a form, our lead-capture processor handles the submission and passes it to two parties: the business your enquiry concerns and the operator of this site. Nothing you submit is published on the site itself.

What the site stores in your browser

To keep attribution accurate, the site stores traffic-source details (referrer, landing page, UTM parameters) in your browser’s sessionStorage. This is first-party, lives only for the current browser session, and is not a tracking cookie: it never follows you to other sites and disappears when the session ends.

Usage measurement

This site may run Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Where analytics is enabled, those services may set cookies to measure visits and page use, under Google’s own privacy terms.

Other services involved

Three third-party services can receive requests from your browser while you use this site: Google Fonts, which serves the site’s typefaces; OpenStreetMap, which serves map tiles; and Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects forms from spam when enabled. Listings are built from public sources such as Google Business Profile reviews. What we keep is derived analysis: scores, summaries, and sentiment, never the raw review text itself. Businesses that want a listing corrected or removed can follow the listing policy.

Retention and your requests

Enquiry details are retained while they are needed to deliver and follow up the enquiry, and not longer than that purpose requires. You can ask for access to your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to info@on-metrics.com.
